Favorite Brands Help us Maintain Daily Family Rituals

With three busy daughters, a houseful of pets, careers, and activity filled calendars, our days seem to take on lives of their own. Sometimes it’s not only difficult to accomplish everything—but, it’s even tough to bring everyone together as a group. Over the years, in spite of daily chaos and hectic schedules, we have developed a few daily rituals that keep our family connected. What are a few of our favorite rituals, how do we maintain them in our schedule and how do trusted brands like Tropicana Pure Premium help?

A family meal—every day. While our schedules rarely connect for a guaranteed nightly dinner—most days work for a family breakfast. Even if time allows only for cereal and orange juice—we try to make the most of the mealtime as a group.

Nightly story time. Our girls love to read and our nightly story time brings in the two younger girls, who read aloud from books of choice. We are usually jointed by the dog who loves to take advantage of thirty minutes to an hour of snuggly, quiet time.

After school snack time. Again, our family focuses on food as we unpack backpacks and reflect on the school day. This time helps us determine the attention needed for nightly homework, gather up important papers or permission slips, update the calendar and refocus our week.

How do we maintain our favorite rituals? Most of our daily habits focus on the kitchen and dining room. There is a sense of comfort in those spaces and we devote a lot of time and effort into the meals, snacks and beverages served in our home. I am a long-time migraine sufferer—with many food and preservative sensitivities. Because I devote so much time to finding and preparing fresh foods and recipes—I love it when I find companies and business that I can trust to provide suitable, commercial products for our family. They make my job so much easier! When I find a favorite product or brand that I trust and our girls enjoy—it’s a keeper. It also finds a frequent spot in our busy day.  Tropicana secrued a spot.

Tropicana is one of our favorite, trusted orange juice brands. Tropicana Pure Premium is 100% Pure Florida Orange Juice. The words “pure” and “100%” are wonderful things for those of us seeking healthy products for our diet. Breakfasts and after school snacks in our home frequently include Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice. Tropicana has been in my house since I was a little girl—and there is a sense of comfort in knowing that a brand that I enjoyed as child is one that I can still trust today as a mom. (I like rituals and habits!)

In a time when farm fresh products are so desirable, it’s wonderful to see a large brand, like Tropicana, dedicated to freshness and longstanding relationship with its growers. Some of Tropicana’s current grower relationships date back to the 1960’s. In a time when business relationships falter daily—this trust between grower and buyer is unfortunately rare—and refreshing to consumers seeking consistency in a brand. Tropicana purchases nearly 11.6 billion oranges from 22 central and southern Florida counties, making them the single largest buyer of Florida fruit each year. The blend of Valencia and Hamlin oranges in Tropicana Pure Premium orange juice give the juice its unique sweetness, color and flavor.

If you are not yet a Tropicana fan—I would encourage you to learn more about them on the Tropicana Website or on Facebook. While visiting, be sure to like Tropicana on Facebook and enter their current sweepstakes for a chance to win a number of awesome Florida themed prizes (including a grand prize trip for four to Florida for an exclusive orange grove experience and hotel stay.)

Perhaps a brand like Tropicana can help your family reconnect with your own daily rituals!
