Covergirl Blast Flipstick Review

Busy moms wear many hats throughout a day--and rely on double duty, multipurpose gear to help them accomplish it all (or at least that which is humanly possible in 24 hours)!  My schedule--and my budget--require that I find the best values for my time and money.  I was recently offered the opportunity to sample and review the Covergirl Blast Flipstick--a three in one lipstick.  How did the Covergirl Blast Flipstick stand up to review in our busy corner of the world?

How did we like the available shades?  We were offered Vixen, Minx and Stunner.  Stunner fit my teen daughter’s color needs--while Vixen and Minx filled the lip color needs of even my younger middle daughter, a competitive dancer, and my own needs.  The double ended lipstick offers a softer shade for day wear and a bolder one for evening wear--with a twist--they are compatible for blending into a softer, unique shade for anytime wear.

a Blended in the Middle.
My dancing, middle daughter was able to adjust the shade and intensity of her lip color for stage lighting with one, easy to pack lipstick tube.  I generally used the blended version of Vixen for daily wear--and my teen daughter enjoyed a combination of the three color options with Stunner.   With so many available shade duos, I think there is truly a shade combo for everyone in the Covergirl Blast Flipstick line.

Did the Covergirl blastflipstick color last?  Was it drying?  The color was fairly long lasting for the samples that we tried.  With only touch-ups of the lighter colors, the girls and I were satisfied with the durability of the Covergirl Blast Flipstick.  I can’t say that the product offered any moisturizing qualities--but, it wasn’t as drying as other lip colors that I have used in the past.

Would I recommend Covergirl Blast Flipstick?  The price of the Covergirl Blast Flipstick is a bargain for two complimentary shades of lipstick--that even give you a third color option in the “deal”.  I think it would be simple to find a color combination that works for you individually and I think you will be satisfied with the product’s color, feel, and wear.  I would recommend it as a valid alternative to pricey, department store lip colors.

  1. I got to review this to and I love it. I put a different color on everyday even if I am not going any where. Your review was great.
