Wordless Wednesday January Link-Up: Winter Pick Me Up

I'm sitting here this morning in Central Ohio....brrr...it's cold already and the next round of "polar" chill hasn't hit yet! I am never a winter-weather fan--but, I am really struggling through every snowy round this year!  So--I thought I'd put up some photos of past winters that actually still make me smile for this week's Wordless Wednesday Link-Up!

Frost Covered Leaves Made Me Smile  In the Fall

....even if they did mean that Winter was on its way!

Snow Angels Always Make Me Happy

....and I don't have to tell you how happy making them makes my little ones!

Snowy Bus Stop Walks/ Animal Track Hunts With Madelyn Make Me Happy
....even when we are so bundled that we can barely bend to look at the tracks.  It is one of her favorite Winter activities..

And When All Else Fails...

This vintage, Madelyn face, from about 6 years ago, always brings a smile! She made this face every time she put on her winter gear that winter....

And....if that isn't enough....I keep reminding myself that this is right around the corner...

....and that always makes me smile!

Enjoy your Wednesday!

  9. We haven't had a whole bunch of snow, but I am so over the frigid temperatures. This 40 year old body can't take it as well as I used to, and I never could take the cold real well.
I love your positive thinking and lovely pictures. And that expression is adorable!

  18. well, coming from Indonesia, we only have snow on the top of the tallest mountain here:D...I miss it though...while we were in Geneve, we quite enjoyed winter and snow, as long as it's not too cold...

  19. Gosh, it's so cold here in the Tennessee Valley this morning minus the snow. I think, if it's gonna be frigid then why can't we get a little white stuff? A little did fall yesterday, but it didn't stick around. I am so ready for spring to get here. I would not make a happy camper living up north. How do you do it? Keep warm this WW!

  22. I have always been a winter fan, but that's because I'm a born and raised California girl. Winter is mild, cool, and perfect. We're now living in Indiana and I HATE it. Finally, I understand the complaints about snow. It's just something you don't get until you experience it. Just 40 days, and counting, until we return back to California.

  23. Wow - I can't even imagine what it would be like to experience a winter like that!

  25. Awww Those are beautiful winter pictures, though! I grew up in Northwest Ohio, but now I live in Texas, so I kind of miss the snow! I heard Ohio has had more than its share this year, though! Hopefully it warms up quickly!
