My Review

 

Adorable Story For Little Readers--or Listeners. Popper Finds a New Home is a lovely story that both pre-school-aged listeners and young elementary readers will enjoy. As Popper the woodpecker seeks the perfect spot to make his new home, he receives a lot of advice from his neighborhood friends along the way. Readers will explore the places Popper's friends call home--and follow Popper as he decides on the best site for a little woodpecker to make a home. 

 

Fun Illustrations Add to the Story.  Little readers will love seeing Popper and his animal friends as he explores his community, searching for a spot to call home. Bright, full-page illustrations surround each encounter and give readers a lot to see.

 

Would I Recommend Popper Finds a New Home by IL Richie?  This book is a lovely book for children to explore friendship, family, and animal homes/habitats in the community. With its easy to read pages, cute characters, fun illustrations, and an easy-to-follow story--this is the perfect little book for pre-school and young readers for storytime or read-alone time. I would recommend this to families or for group storytimes.
