I enjoy Pauline Creeden's writing style--and always look forward to joining book tours promoting her books!  This tour is for a novella companion (Survivor) to Creeden's book, Sanctuary.  Today, we have an interview with Pauline Creeden.  Enjoy getting to know this author--and be sure to check out the other stops on the book tour!

I have received complimentary copies of these books for use in my blog posts.  All opinions are my own.

Quick Summary of Survivor--the *Novella companion to Sanctuary. What if the Biblical End Times unfolded in a way no one told you about and the rapture didn’t happen before the tribulation began… Aliens have attacked and Rory’s mother is missing, but none of that matters much to him. He’s safe in his apartment complex, has his friends and his twin sister, Hailey. But as supplies start to dwindle, it becomes obvious that he needs to do something to make sure they all survive…even if it means he has to brave going outside through the Shisa and the zombies people have become. As long as they are safe, that’s all that matters, right?

Interview with Author Pauline Creeden
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m a morning person who married a night owl, so I get very little sleep at all. I’m a newly initiated slave to my FitBit—must make my step count goal every day! And I’m an over-achiever...I must reach beyond every goal in order to feel as though I’ve succeeded.

What is in your purse?
I actually rarely carry one, so it’s just my wallet, lip balm, my keys and cell phone…oh and an extra pair of socks (just in case).

What do you do when you aren't writing?
I’m a horse trainer a riding instructor for my day job. My husband and I home school our 15 year old son. I’m a certifiable Netflix addict, and like I said before…slave to my Fitbit J

What inspired this series?
Fifteen or so years ago, I read the Left Behind Series, but I’d never read the Bible all the way. Honestly, most of the portrayals of the “End Times” according to Revelation are “hokie” and unbelievable, but that series brought the prophecy a little more at home for me. Then I found out that there are many different theories on how the rapture or end times will play out. So when I finally read Revelation for myself, I did it with a prayerful, open mind, trying to take in the scriptures and imagine them without the aid of any of the extra lectures by people and preachers that I’d heard in the past. The Sanctuary End Times Series stems from that open mind.

Why should someone read this book?
When I was younger, the idea of an alien invasion really bothered me as it didn’t jive with what I’d been taught in church. So it brought up many unanswered questions…like why isn’t that stuff even in the Bible? Then when I read the Bible myself, I found that an alien invasion would not necessarily be unbiblical. So with this series of books, I’m hoping to help those who were like me make sense out of the possible connection. And as a fan of both Falling Skies and Walking Dead, the idea of aliens and zombies in one book was just too cool to pass up!

Start the series with award winning Sanctuary

Watch Sanctuary's Book Trailer
Sanctuary crosses boundaries and borders and incorporates elements of all kinds of action and intrigue, from thriller-like adventure to a post-apocalyptic tale of life after aliens invade. Thus it will delight readers seeking something truly different, while disappointing those who anticipated a shallow, one-dimensional subject and story line.”

About the Author

Pauline Creeden

Pauline Creeden is a horse trainer from Virginia, but writing is her therapy. In her fiction, she creates worlds that are both familiar and strange, often pulling the veil between dimensions. She becomes the main character in each of her stories, and because she has ADD, she will get bored if she pretends to be one person for too long.
