Welcome to our little corner of the world!
We hope that our readers find just a little bit of everything and anything helpful to today's busy families! Some days we will share family travel adventures, other days a tip or trick for healthy meals--sometimes we'll talk about money. Sometimes pets. Sometimes the latest book from our reading list.
Your days aren't focused on just one thing--and neither are ours! We want our little corner of the world to be a friendly spot for you to visit, share, and explore a variety of topics.
Who are we?
Angela is the Mama here in this little corner of the world. An environmental engineering consultant turned freelance writer, blogger, and stay at home mama--Angela writes about just about anything and everything family, mom, and lifestyle related!
Chris is the Dad here on-site. He handles a lot of the business side of things, and is slowly taking over a lot of the marketing, advertising, and sponsorship management. If you are interested in ad space or sponsored posts--or in scheduling a review or press visit--email him!
Macy and Madelyn are the two young ladies inspiring most of the posts, experiences and events featured on the site! Our third daughter, Allanah, has ventured out on her own and is creating her own little corner of the world. You will see the girls (often) sampling products, posing for photos and even creating a few posts of their own from time to time.
Jack, Louis, and Baby are the resident kitties these days. Louise is an old lady that we inherited after parents passed away and she has been elevated from outdoor, semi-feral wild woman to Indoor Queen status over the past few years. Jack is a tuxedo scaredy-cat. Our daughter chose him as a birthday present one year, but he slowly became Chris' favorite. Miss Baby is the latest addition, a rescued polydactyl whose mama was killed by a racoon when she was a tinier baby.
We also have two chinchillas--Leo and Pip. Leo became the accidental papa when we were gifted a second male chin who turned out to be a female--and along came Pip. Mama Chin passed a year or so ago, but Pip and Leo keep things active!
And--we cannot forget Bubbles, the African sidenecked turtle who will likely outlive us all.
If you have a product review suggestion, family travel themed idea, or a topic that you would like to see featured here on A Mama's Corner of the World--email us and let us know!

ReplyDeleteHi Angela, Thank you for taking the time to read my book and offering your review. Very kind and much appreciated! Thrilled you found Wonder and Joy to be a gentle, optimistic, and useful read - that was my goal when I first envisioned how I would approach the book. Also, love your site and the fact your entire family is involved - best of luck in the future. Pam
