Cloud Gate in Chicago's Millennium Park
I love unique architecture and sculptures--and city skylines. This view was perfect.
...And this view put the sculpture (and its iconic bean shape) into perspective within its surroundings. Every shot from different angles gives a different view of the surrounding buildings.

DeleteWhenever I go to Chicago, I always try to go to Millennium Park and see the Cloud Gate. I find it and the reflections it produces fascinating.

DeleteAJ, This is a cool sculpture! I like how you can see the city's reflection in it and it makes for a great photo-op. We passed through Chicago in 2000 during the night headed to St. Louis from Michigan. DH left one job interview for another in Missouri on that trip. All we could see was the south side of the city, which wasn't much the way I remember it. Just endless lights! It would be kind of nice to visit again when we could see stuff during the day. :) Thanks for popping over for a visit yesterday!
ReplyDeleteThis is our second trip to Chicago--and our situation was essentially like your drive through last time. We arrived too late (too dark) and our trip was too "scheduled"...so we added an extra day this year to actually visit a couple of sites.
