Lemon Berry Cream Frozen Yogurt Popsicle Recipe Idea

I honestly do not know why we have not made Frozen Yogurt popsicles before! They are so easy to make—and so much healthier than most commercial popsicles or ice cream treats that live in our freezer. We used only three simple ingredients in our Lemon Berry Cream Frozen Yogurt Popsicle recipe—they are so easy! We thought these popsicles would be a great entry for our Blogging from A to Z challenge—P is for Popsicles—and they also make a great Yoplait Light Swapportunity recipe!

I see these popsicles being a frequent addition to our busy backyard pool snack menu this summer! The flavor possibilities are endless with so many yummy yogurts and different fresh fruits available year around.  I am actually thinking of making Frozen Yogurt Orange Cream-sicles this weekend for a party that we are hosting with an orange yogurt and mandarin oranges.

Ingredients for Lemon Berry Cream Frozen Yogurt Popsicles

3 6 oz. Containers Yoplait Light Lemon Meringue Pie Yogurt or Lemon Yogurt of your choice

1 6oz. Container Fresh Blackberries, Blueberries or Raspberries (we used blackberries)

1 Tbsp. local Honey

6-8 Popsicle Molds or Small, Paper Cups and Craft/Popsicle Sticks

Instructions for Making Lemon Berry Cream Frozen Yogurt Popsicles

In a large capacity blender, combine the yogurt, berries and honey. Process or pulse until smooth.

If desired, you may strain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove berry seeds—we left ours in instead!

Pour the lemon berry yogurt mixture into popsicle molds. Stand the molds upright, flat on a freezer shelf. Freeze several hours or until frozen solid. Remove popsicles from molds by simply running water over the outside of the mold and pulling them gently from the mold and serve.
