I was hammering this sentiment all weekend. We don't push ourselves past our comfort zones often enough. How do we know what we are capable of doing if we never test our own boundaries and personal limits?
Our paths, especially the right paths, are not always cleared and paved for us. It's time to realize that carving our own paths makes the routes to our own destinations--and it's okay if there is nobody else on that path. It's okay if nobody else has gone that way before!
I know what I want to do with my life. I have set my goals. I have even created action plans to help me achieve my goals. Now--I just need to summon up the courage to accept that it's okay to be happy with my dreams and goals--even if those have changed or are very different than those of others. I also need to remember that it's okay to not yet know the outcome of my efforts!
It's a new day--and it is the perfect time to push outside that comfort zone, take a risk, and blossom.
Embrace the opportunities and the challenges offered today--and every day!
Enjoy your Monday!

Courage: Overcoming Fear and Igniting Self-Confidence by Debbie Ford. I just added this to my To-Be-Read List. I could use a resource to help guide me past those self-punishing, fear of the past, activities in which I tend to dwell.
Contagious Courage: A 30-Day Journey to Overcoming Stress and Anxiety. I am not sure that 30 days will do the trick--but, the reviews for this book are quite positive and it does seem that it could get the ball rolling on the right track!
