Keep The Kids Entertained All Through Christmas With These Santa Gifts

It’s that time of year again. Time to get the presents under the tree and make sure you have plenty of goodies and gifts for the kids to open on Christmas morning. The problem is that if you’re not careful, you can buy them presents that are fun for about five minutes and then end up in storage or forgotten on the floor in the midst of the wrapping. It can be rather disheartening to see that that the kids are already bored by midday on Christmas, but there is an easy way to avoid this.

You just need to make sure that you are buying them toys and gifts that are going to keep their attention. So, what should Santa be delivering your kids this year to keep them happy?

Big Enough To last All Year

If you have an older child, you might want to consider buying them a boxset of their favourite show or even a TV show that you think they’d love but is a little before their time. Just make sure that it’s not something available on any of the streaming services you buy into or it could be a massive waste of money. The good news is that boxsets are often on sale at this time of year so you will be able to get a great show at a great price and no Netflix doesn’t have them all. If you have a teen girl who can’t get enough of McDreamy, Grey’s Anatomy is on sale right now and if your kid loves the Supers, Young Justice 1 and 2 are available before 3 hits the DC streaming service sometime next year.

Lego Of Some Stress

Another possibility would be to buy your kid some lego for Christmas. After all, who doesn’t love lego? It’s a great present for anyone who loves creating and inventing with a fantastic level of imagination involved. The other great thing about Lego is that it can be more challenging by purchasing a different kit if you have older kids. For instance, lego technics will enable kids to create a fully functional vehicle. Kits like this are more complex than building your typical brick house, but older kids will have no problem. Parents might enjoy it too and be able to work off some of the stress that was brought on preparing for Christmas.

A Virtual Revelation

Of course, if you have a little more in the budget, you can also think about investing in a VR kit for the family to play with. These were big last year and still are this season, but since they’re a tad older, they are also slightly cheaper. You can get bundle packs on sale with games and kit to complete the experience. It’s something else that the whole family will enjoy, but you will probably have to take turns.

A Bit Of A Puzzle

Finally, you could consider purchasing a puzzle sit for them to stretch their mind muscles with. Again, these can be purchased online at different levels of difficulty, so you’ll be able to match the task to the age of your kid. This should keep them quiet while you prepare the big feast for Christmas day!
