Two weekends ago, we were able to celebrate our middle little one's 11th birthday with a trip to the family day and concerts at The New Albany Classic.  Since our 11 year old desperately wanted to see AJR (an up and coming boy-band that I had somehow been missing in my daily music playlist)--a trip to The New Albany Classic was in order.  The New Albany Classic is actually part equestrian event--which my husband and I loved--and part community, family fun day which we all loved.  I thought I would share a few of the girls' favorite things from the day as this week's Wordless Wednesday link up.

The girls spent the day riding rides and smiling....

Lynnie on the Merry-Go-Round...

Macy ziplining for the first time....

The girls bouncing and doing flips...

...and Attending the Concerts...

I didn't get photos from the concert stages...but, the girls saw....

AJR

The girls absolutely LOVE this band!  They were not the "headliner"--but, they were our primary reason for going to this event--and the girls were not going to miss a second of them.

 Sabrina Carpenter

Jake Miller

and Fifth Harmony

After watching Fifth Harmony....I will be honest, I was kind of glad that the girls were still more interested in taking pictures with Belle and the Beast than chasing the Fifth Harmony ladies for autographs.... :)

All in all it was a great family day, a very well organized event....and a lot of fun for a very special 11 year old...and pretty tiring for kids and parents alike!

Now it's your turn to share!

The New Albany Classic is an annual event held at the Wexner estate near Columbus, Ohio.  Tickets for the Family Day event and concert benefit The Center for Family Safety and Healing.  We were not sponsored for this post or compensated.  It was simply a local, Columbus, Ohio, area event that we enjoyed and would recommend to our readers.
