Valentia Even Glow Vitamin C Antioxidant Serum Review

Once upon a time, my skin was clear, bright, and wrinkle free.  Then I had three kids, forgot how to sleep, worked too many hours to eat right, and woke up one day with dark spots, less-than-fine lines and wrinkles, and dull, tired skin.  Okay--my aging skin didn't happen overnight--but, it did happen and I've been trying to improve it since the day that I realized how much damage I'd done to it over the years!  Recently, I was offered the opportunity to review Valentia Even Glow Serum, a Vitamin C, antioxidant serum.  I have tried other skin care serums in the past and was interested to see my results after a couple of weeks sampling the Valentia Even Glow Serum.

What is Valentia Even Glow Serum?

My Experiences with 2 Weeks of Valentia Even Glow Serum Usage
Because the Valentia Serum is thick, it is easy to apply.  Only a few drops are need to cover the face and neck.  The serum absorbs quickly with no sticky or greasy residue.

Within seconds of the application, I could feel a tingling sensation on my skin.  It wasn't uncomfortable--but, I could certainly "feel" the serum penetrating my skin.  As the tingling subsided and the serum dried--I noticed some initial skin redness on my cheeks and chin.  The redness remained for a while before subsiding.   

After using the product daily, in the mornings, as part of my normal cleansing/moisturizing routine, for nearly two weeks, I could certainly see a visible change in the brightness and tone of my skin.  My face felt softer to the touch the very first day--and my skin tone became much more even than it was before.  There were no visible improvements to either my fine lines or my dark spots--but, those didn't appear overnight and I don't expect rapid improvement.    I will be interested to see how those two issues change with continued use.

I will say that I still experience a slight tingling and slight skin reddening upon application. I have not experienced any breakouts or other skin irritation--and the redness diminishes after a few minutes--but, there is at least an initial reaction to the product.

Would I recommend Valentia Even Glow Serum?  Overall, I was pleased with my skin's response to the Valentia Even Glow Serum and will continue to use it.   Everyone's skin is different, and personal results may vary, but I would recommend this product for those seeking smoother, softer skin and a more even skin tone.
