Fitsme Meal Planning Site Review

This post is brought to you by Fitsme.

I love to find new recipes—and spend a lot of time either creating posts of my own for the In the Kitchen section here in A Mama’s Corner of the World or seeking out last minute ideas from some of the millions of food themed websites out there.  I was recently introduced to Fitsme—an application, currently free in beta, that helps users quickly sort and filter millions of recipe options tailored toward taste, preference, and even dietary restrictions—and easily create meal plans from those recipes.

I may receive slight affiliate compensations from some of my posts.  All opinions and experiences with affiliate products and services are my own and are not influenced by compensation.

What do I like about Fitsme?  Fitsme brings my favorite recipe resources to view in a “one stop search”—and lets me quickly and easily add them to menus and meal plans.  After providing just a few pieces of information, my Fitsme account allows me to enter “Food Personality” information on food allergies (no tree nuts for me), dietary preferences (paleo, vegetarian, etc.), cuisine type (American, Indian, etc.), and even specific likes and dislikes so that the program is better able to quickly tailor meal plans to my needs.  I can either have Fitsme create a menu from my preferences—or sub in my own recipe finds based on search results and ingredient filters.  Once I find recipes that work for my family, I can easily save them to a meal plan or store them for future use.

Learn more about the app and sign up for Fitsme online.

Fitsme is in Beta—but, it has been very functional for me.  Depending on your browser, you may occasionally need to refresh the search results so that the proper photos refresh with a new search—but, I have only had one issue with oddly returned search results from a query.  Not every recipe that the site retrieves has photos—but, the Pintetest style layout of Fitsme makes it fun and very visually appealing to accomplish the ho-hum task of meal planning!

Disclosure:  I have been asked to help Fitsme promote the website--and I may receive affiliate compensation from links in my posts.  All opinions and experiences are my own.
