August Wordless Wednesday Link Up: Back to School 2014

Summer was a blur! Our Wordless Wednesday link ups fell victim to over-scheduled summer days--but, I think I'm ready to get back to my usual patterns finally! Our little corner of the world is a bit quiet today as the girls have already returned to school. I thought I would share our first day of school photos as this week's Wordless Wednesday link up!  

Meet the Teacher Night 


The girls were both excited to meet their teachers and visit their schools during open house. True to usual form, the Meet the Teacher events were held at essentially the same time at the girls' different schools--but it was a success.

 Macy is off to 6th Grade 


I'm not sure how it's possible that this little lady is in the 6th grade--but, somehow those years have zipped by!

 Madelyn is ready for 3rd Grade


Madelyn looked so grown up in this picture--but, if you look closely, you can see her frog earrings....she's still a little tomboy at heart!

Both girls have challenging years ahead of them--and I love that they were so excited to head back to school!

    Don't they seriously just grow up too fast?! I have one starting high school, and one going to grade 5 this year...gonna *cry*!!!
