Glistening Swarm Successfully Rounds Out Cooper's Series. I will be honest--I enjoyed Cooper's imaginative world, her end-of-the-world adventures, and her characters. I could follow the characters through a few more series adventures. Cooper offers closure to the series and readers will feel that the characters find resolution--but, I think other readers will wish there were more adventures to come.Fans of the series will not be disappointed. Cooper maintains her writing style and continues her story with ease. This book flows at an even pace--and concluded the series without giving a rushed or forced feel to the book.
Would I recommend Glistening Swarm by Jill Cooper? I would actually recommend the entire series to dystopian fans seeking something a little different from the standard zombie or demon realm. Expect action, adventure, suspense, fantasy--and a little bit of a love story. It's well worth adding to your reading list if you enjoy dragons, shape shifters, and/or dystopian themes.
