10 Places to Find Free Printable Valentine's Day Coloring Sheets for Kids

Valentine's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays--but, it became even better once I had kids and could see the excitement (and love) on their faces as we found ways to celebrate Valentine's Day during the weeks leading up to the holiday.  We always begin the month of February reading our favorite Valentine's Day books to build the excitement--and then add in as many Valentine's Day activities, crafts, and games as possible!  Over the years, I have printed 100's of coloring pages for the girls--and probably 100's more for classroom parties and goody bags as room parent!  Today, I am sharing some of the sites I'm using this year for free printable Valentine's Day coloring sheets for kids.

Mickey & Minnie February Calendar and Coloring Sheet.  I think most of us love Minnie & Mickey Mouse.  It seems fitting that a printable calendar and coloring sheet featuring Minnie & Mickey Mouse be first on our list for a fun Valentine's Day activity for the kids!

Print Coloring Pages from DisneyClips.com.  Visitors to the DisneyClips.com website may download Valentine's Day coloring sheets featuring favorite Disney characters like Winnie the Pooh and his friends, Donald & Daisy Duck, and Mickey & Minnie Mouse.

A Number of Sites Offer the Same, Printable Valentine's Day Coloring Sheets.  From puppies and bears to little boys and girls with hearts and flowers and "Be Mine" prints to color; there are several Valentine's Day themed coloring sheets available on Coloring-Page.net that are fast and easy to download and print.  You may find many of the same designs on other sites as well.

Roses and Flower themed coloring sheets.  While, I probably never would have looked at the site for printable, Valentine's Day coloring sheets; the ProFlowers website offers a few Valentine themed coloring sheets as well as a number of other floral themed sheets perfect for the holiday.

Valentine's Day Coloring Pages at Crayola.com.  The designs of some of the Valentine's Day printable coloring sheets at Crayola.com have a lot more detail and fine lines than the more simple pages from the previous sites.  In addition to sheets to print and color for Valentine's Day, the site also offers activity sheets (like Bingo cards) and a printable Valentine's Day card.

Hallmark.com offers a few free, printable coloring sheets for Valentine's Day.  The coloring pages on Hallmark.com range from simple to more complex.  I particularly like the "Framed Heart" coloring page that gives the kids room to doodle a picture on the sheet as well.

Hellokids.com has a variety of Valentine's Day coloring sheets.  If you are looking for coloring pages depicting situations like Valentine's Day gift giving or sheets with more people, a variety of animals, friendships and details--this HelloKids.com has a number of Valentine's Day coloring pages to download and print.

Color by Letter Coloring Pages are Favorites.  I love color by letter or by number style coloring sheets.  They take a bit longer to color, they require that the kids pay a little attention to detail and follow directions.  I love the Valentine Cupid Color by Letter page on Reading-with-kids.com and  the Valentine Bear and Hearts pages.

Education.com shares some free printable Valentine's Day coloring pages.  Visitors to the Education.com website may download some free themed coloring sheets--but, must register an email and basic information with the site to download and print the pages.

Readers may download Valentine's Day coloring sheets, crafts and activities at BigActivities.com. BigActivities.com has several free pages to color for Valentine's Day.  While most of the coloring sheets are basic, the site also offers an assortment of activity sheets, mazes, sudoku and more.

As I said, I print a lot of coloring sheets for kids for Valentine's Day and, really, every other holiday as well.  It is a fun activity to work on fine motor skills with the little ones and creativity with the older ones.  Coloring sheets are a must for classroom parties to help fill some time between games and activities!

Enjoy your Valentine's Day!
