Then, she saw this....
While we couldn't take the actual payphone--she certainly classified it as a relic and plans to submit a few photos to the school's artifact gallery. How many payphones do you see these days? My youngest daughter was actually a little speechless by the concept of "paying quarters" to make a phone call!
What left you speechless this week?

Almost as much of a relic as the dime needed to put into it :)
ReplyDeleteI can't even remember the last time I saw a pay phone? Do they still take quarters? I'm betting loonies now (for us Canadians).
ReplyDeleteI am an old relic! Would she like to take me? lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up, Teresa from NanaHood.com
That is too funny! There is a restaurant by my work that has an old payphone booth. They removed the payphone and put a sign up that says Cell Phone Booth. Stopping by from the Shh... It's Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Me three! Relics, eh? Does that mean your daughter will soon be collecting me? LOL
ReplyDeleteHi AJ! What if you remember when it was 10 cents to make a phone call on a pay phone? lol
ReplyDeleteYou know what, that is so true: I hardly see payphones around anywhere anymore. Food for thought...
