January Wordless Wednesday Link Up #2: Pittsburgh Winter Feis Fun

I've mentioned that Irish dance rules most of our weekends these days now that two of our daughters compete regularly.  The last weekend of 2013 found us at the Pittsburgh Airport for the Pittsburgh Winter Feis.  We didn't add any travel adventures to the weekend--but, it was still tiring since it was the weekend after all of our Christmas travels and family gatherings.

Running late...but, ready to dance...
We had a little morning hair drama--and an early dance time for Madelyn, but we made it!

Miss Madelyn had a winning day...
She earned a 2nd place, two 4th place medals, and a 5th....Her sister earned only one ribbon in her level--but, we all agreed it was a pretty good day! And we are all a little glad that we have a few weekends free from competition and travel before the year kicks into full swing!

    Congrats on the medals! My oldest won a trophy at a karate tournament recently and carried it around with him for a week LOL.

    Irish dance is so interesting! My daughter went to a class once and it sounded like a lot of fun! Congrats on the medals!
