National Soup Month: The Original SoupMan Soup Review

January is National Soup Month—and we are winding down the month with a review of The Original SoupMan soups.  It’s been freezing in our little corner of the world for too long this month—so, it was really pretty easy to get the family on board for some warm, soup sampling during our many snow days.  What was our review of the soup selections from The Original SoupMan?

Disclosure:  This is a review in partnership with The Niche Parent Network & Conference. All opinions are my own.

A Little About The Original SoupMan.  Have you heard of The Original SoupMan's world famous soups?  It seems that these soups and their creator were famous long before the SoupMan inspired “No soup for you!” “Seinfeld” episode that launched the show’s Soup Nazi character.   The Original SoupMan soups are no longer limited to the New York restaurant or food truck scene—they are now packaged and available in hundreds of stores.  You can find a store near you here:  http://bit.ly/16FyefS.

The Original SoupMan soup is quick, easy—and tastes great.  My daughters and I sampled a few varieties of The Original SoupMan soup:  the Chicken Gumbo, Chicken Noodle, and the Tomato Bisque over the past few days.  The packages are easy to open, the soups are quick to heat and serve—and each of the soups that we sampled was loaded with flavor.

Original SoupMan Chicken Gumbo was a favorite.

My youngest loves soup—and The Original SoupMan Chicken Gumbo was one of her favorites.  The broth was thick and well spiced—and loaded with chicken, rice, and vegetables.  It was a little tough to convince her to share!

Would I recommend The Original SoupMan soup?   I do not buy a lot of “convenience” foods for my family—but, soup is often the exception.  Soup is a frequent, quick and easy lunch that the girls enjoy.  I love that The Original SoupMan packages offer serving ideas, ingredient add-ins, and recipe options to turn the soup into a full meal—and I like that the packaging is BPA free and the ones that I sampled personally were MSG free too.  There are so many flavor options available from The Original SoupMan that there is literally something for everyone (even my picky eater).
