Posing Before the Winter Recital
Macy was ready to go....
Madelyn was slightly more excited....
Madelyn was 3rd to play....
Time for Jingle Bells....She said she wasn't nervous--but, she did position herself with her back to most of the audience. I think it was a relief to play and relax!
Macy's Turn!
Macy's age put her somewhere in the middle of the program. She was concentrating on O' Christmas Tree.....we did get a slight smile from her at the end.
In the end, we were proud of them (like always!). It's not easy to play solos in front of a crowd--especially from memory.
Another busy weekend!

DeleteYour girls are so lovely and I know they did you proud. BTW before I go, I just have to ask, what's the difference between a fiddle and a violin? Thanks for joining my WW linky party. Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy and thank you. The instrument is the same--my middle one uses it as a "violin" in her school orchestra...the bowing technique is the difference (or so I'm told) : )
Deletevery cute! brings back memories of my late grandfather playing for us at Christmas. The sounds of fiddles always brings back nice warm memories for me.
