March Wordless Wednesday Link Up: Birthday Love

My birthday fell on the weekend this year--and my "old" college roommate celebrated her birthday on Friday--so it turned into a weekend-long birthday celebration when she came to visit on Thursday.  I thought that I would share a few photos of my presents from the kids as this week's Wordless Wednesday Link-Up.

The Group Shot...
The tall "basket" was a carnival/art glass knock-off that I found discounted for $5 in a local shop.  The girls say, "Why do you like grapes so much?"...Most of my carnival glass is Indiana/Fenton/Northwood....most with grape patterns.

Macy's Presents...
Our home has been overtaken by rubber band looms--but, I thought the little cupcake that she created from her loom was really cute!  The mint makes me smile--because it is her favorite candy.  The card read, " I love You!!!" and was decorated with heart balloons.

Madelyn's Presents...
Madelyn opted for a rubber band loom-created, "thumb" ring, a bead bracelet, and a choker created from silly bands on the band loom.  The candy was color coordinated with my card.  Inside, the card read, "I know I'm not always a perfect child--but, you are always a perfect mom."

I cried.

I always cry.

It was a really good weekend--and, I am ready for this year!  (Okay--I'm actually just ready for Spring--but, I'm now officially ready!)
Enjoy your Wednesday--and don't forget to link up your latest Wordless Wednesday posts!

    1. Thank you! We were on a road trip over Mothers Day last year--and my middle daughter wrote me a letter (on Embassy Suites "stationary") letting me know how wonderful it was that I "gave up" my special day for their competition....I keep it by my desk and still cry when I read it! :)
