One of my goals for the new year was to take more pictures of life in our little corner of the world. I always have either the cell phone camera or my actual camera with us--but, for some reason, I just don't drag them out for random pictures. The middle daughter, i.e. the Instagram fanatic, takes pictures of anything and everything--and is too often my source for photos of our little trips and memories. She suggested that I join a photo challenge--so
my #365Project adventure began on January 1. So far--it's still a struggle for me to snap photographs simply to snap photographs--but, I have kept up with the challenge even if most of my photos are still of my furry subjects! I thought I would share a few of my latest #365project photos as this week's #WordlessWednesday bloghop.
The Elusive Lea
Before this year, I had 3 or 4 decent photos of Lea the cat. It has taken a little effort--but I am slowly adding Lea photos to our memories....
Miss Gi
Gina isn't quite as elusive in family photo albums as Lea--but, most of her photos have been sleeping shots over the years.
The Easy Shots
Elsa and Max are always ready for a closeup. When all else fails for decent #365Project photos--I'm always guaranteed to get something from one of those two!
This week, my challenge needs to be of a fur-less subject! We'll see how that goes!
Do you have a Wordless Wednesday post to share?

ReplyDeleteAnimals are so expressive--and, in this house, there always seems to be one around! :)
DeleteLove the kitties. Nice pics.

DeleteThey are all such beautiful animals! Gina is my cat's identical twin!!
ReplyDeleteAww...Gina is "my" cat....she is a 1-person cat and she seems to have chosen me most days. :)
DeleteYour furry friends are very cute! And good luck on your photo project. I don't know how many times I've tried that project over the years. I never make it to the end. Haha!
ReplyDeleteI was doing well until this week. Now I need to try to catch up....or give up!
DeleteCute kitties! Miss G looks a little like one of our kitties.
ReplyDeleteMiss G is our oldest....turning 12 this year. She has a personality all her own!
DeleteThey are all so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha. My cat hates to have her photo taken! Your furbabies are cuties!
ReplyDeleteLove your furbabies. My cat seems to have photo radar-he will be in a great position and the minute I am ready to snap the picture he moves or walks away.
ReplyDeleteThat has always been Lea--these are the best photos we have ever gotten of her in 9 years!
DeleteLove animals and your photos are lovely. Second kitty is my fav. My best friend just lost her pet cat, Zippy, yesterday. He was 10. She is heartbroken. Hope 2015 is a good year for you. Teresa from nanahood.com
ReplyDeleteWe lost our Frito last year--and it was so tough! I feel for her. They certainly hold a special place in our hearts!
DeleteYour pets are adorable! Have a terrific day!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cats! My kids really want a pet but I'm not cut out for it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not cut out for it some days either! They are more work than the kids....and the kids who promised to feed, walk, etc. them seem to forget....a lot.. :)
Deletecute cat photos.they pose well for the camera..:) Hope to see your captures from the 365 days project.
ReplyDeleteYour furry friends are so adorable and are what brought us here. You should have them join our weekly Sunday Selfies Blog Hop at The Cat on My Head. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteI missed it last week--but, we'll definitely check it out on Sunday! The Cat on My Head title is the best....Lea Cat has just recently taken to sleeping on my pillow and ends up on my head...so, it really makes me smile when I read it!

Amazing captures - thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Wordless Wednesday!
Thank you, Jessica!
Deleteawww, they are all so cute! And I have so many pictures of our cat - but half of them have never made it onto my blog. He just always seems to be something cute, or silly.... or napping in the most outrageous positions and places.
ReplyDeleteMy husband says I take too many pictures of the cats....and he only sees the ones that make it to the blog. ;)
DeleteHa! Nice to link up with another cat feature post! Lea is especially beauuutiful!
ReplyDeleteI seem to feature cats a lot! Lea has always been my middle daughter's favorite!
DeleteI love cats and who doesn't love cat photos! So cute! Thanks for linking up at OMHG WW this week!
