Uncorked Festival: Drinking for a Cause

While drinking wine can have some health benefits, and it certainly is fun, you often don’t consider it an activity that can add to your social responsibility. A series of wine festivals is setting out to change all that, though.

If you’re a lover of wine and great causes, then you better be headed to Cleveland, Ohio, on January 11th, 2020, for the Uncorked Wine Festival!

This year’s Uncorked Festival in Cleveland looks to be amazing. With so many wineries planning to attend and a great cause to support, it will surely be a popular draw. All the more reason to start your planning now!

The Festival

This festival was created around one thing: oenophilia or rather the love of wine. On January 11th, you can expect to find hundreds of fellow wine lovers gathering at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio, to enjoy over a hundred different wines and champagnes from all around the world! Guests can expect to enjoy delicious gourmet food and experience interactive exhibits.

The event has two sessions: VIP and general. The VIP session has a $65 admission cost and starts an hour before the general admission, which means shorter lines and special pours from select wineries an hour before everyone else. The general admission costs $50 and includes wine tastings for the evening.

This year, the Uncorked Festival’s proceeds will go toward supporting the non-profit Adoption Network (The Ohio Family Connection). This non-profit helps educate, advocate for, and support people on every side of the adoption and foster care worlds. It’s a worthy cause that’s helped so many people.

You can expect to see some of your favorite wineries making an appearance and possibly a few more that you have yet to taste. Here’s a few of the upcoming line up to expect at Uncorked Wine Festival in Cleveland this January:
