Whether I’m using leftover holiday ham or grabbing a few slices from the deli, these easy baked ham & Swiss slider sandwiches are always a huge hit. Made with soft Hawaiian sweet rolls and baked with a buttery Italian garlic drizzle, these sweet and savory sliders are perfect for feeding a crowd.
They’re one of my go-to recipes for holiday gatherings, game day parties, potlucks, and casual get-togethers, but they’re just as easy to make for a simple family lunch or dinner. If you’re looking for a warm, crowd-pleasing sandwich that disappears fast, this baked ham & Swiss sliders recipe never lets me down.
Ingredients for Easy, Sweet & Savory Ham & Swiss Sliders (Perfect for a Crowd)
12 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, sliced to give tops & bottoms. I use King's Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls.
6 slices Swiss cheese, quartered
12 slices ham, cut to fit the rolls. About 6 slices of a cooked, spiral-sliced ham works perfectly.
Butter Garlic Drizzle
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 Tablespoon Parmesan cheese
Optional Toppings
- Mayonnaise
- Sliced Pickles
- Banana Peppers
How to Make Baked Ham & Swiss Sliders for Parties & Game Day
1. Preheat Oven & Prepare Baking Pan
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly Spray an 11x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray--or line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
2. Assemble the Sliders
Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the prepared pan. Add a piece of Swiss cheese to each roll, followed by ham, then another piece of Swiss cheese. Place the roll tops back on.
Tip: I like to keep the rolls connected while baking and slice them apart afterward. They stay warmer and melt better this way.
3. Make the Butter Garlic Drizzle.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning until combined. Brush or drizzle the butter mixture evenly over the tops and sides of the sliders, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
4. Bake and Serve. Bake for about 10 minutes or until tops are browned and meat and cheese are warm and melted! Serve immediately while warm!
