My Review
In the Nick of Time Too Offers Important Messages for Young Readers. As Nick and his best friend Cooper enjoy Nick's family's Christmas Eve open house and later encounter a magical guest; the author shares some important lessons about kindness, friendship, diversity, and beliefs and some deeper meanings for the holiday season. From understanding that Christmas isn't the only holiday celebrated to remembering the value of kindness and the importance of listening (and learning) from our friends--the author shares a lot of timely life lessons in this children's book!
Would I Recommend In the Nick of Time Too by Deedee Cummings? In the Nick of Time Too is another perfect book for families with young children or even older kids to use as a teaching tool for the holiday season. The author shares some wise words in Santa's letter that encourages readers to view others with kindness and understanding. I enjoyed the story and feel it is relatable and valuable to readers and families as we share our holiday activities and beliefs this season.
