Today, we’re going to be focusing on some of the things you should be considering if you’re struggling to get pregnant. Now, we want to be extremely clear here - we are not saying that anything on this list is definitely causing you issues, we’re just saying that it’s a possibility.

Stress

Stress can wreak havoc in the body, especially the female body. When you’re overly stressed, you may find that you end up skipping periods, that your body doesn’t feel quite right generally, and that things aren’t 100%. If you feel this way, if you’re missing periods, and if you’re having other symptoms of stress, then this could be causing you to struggle to fall pregnant.

The best thing that we can recommend for this is that you try to relax a little more. We know that this is far easier said than done, but perhaps taking up yoga, or something equally as calming will help you. Even just finding some more time for yourself and the things you love could help.

Diet And Lifestyle

Now, we’re not saying this to shame anyone, but the facts are the facts - if you are severely over or underweight, your chances of getting pregnant are decreased. This is why a healthy diet and lifestyle is encouraged for those who are interested in trying to get pregnant and have been struggling.

You need to be getting all of your vitamins, and taking supplements if necessary. Folic acid is one of the most important nutrients you need, so make sure you’re eating plenty of leafy greens, or taking supplements.

As well as this, smoking, drinking alcohol in excess, taking drugs, and other lifestyle choices will harm your chances of becoming pregnant. Due to this, it’s a good idea to try and make some lifestyle changes if you want to fall pregnant.

Age

Last but certainly not least, you might want to think about whether your age is playing a role here. It’s entirely possible that your age is making it more difficult to get pregnant but that doesn’t make it impossible. However, it does mean that you need to make sure that you are speaking to a medical professional. There are many signs of infertility in women that you should be aware of. This will help you understand whether it is time to speak to a doctor.

These are often pieces that you may not consider if you are struggling to get pregnant. This can be a troubling experience but you shouldn’t give up hope because even if natural choices do not work, there are other possibilities that you can explore as well.
