Mardi Gras Party Ideas and Resources



We had the pleasure of hosting our own Mardi Gras party last year--sponsored by Zatarains and House Party.  Not only was it a lot of fun--but, we learned a lot of tips, tricks and found a number of our own resources along the way. Let us share some of our favorite ideas to help make your Mardi Gras Party a success this year.

The Invitations. Whether you are sending invitations at the last minute, or weeks in advance--there are a number of Mardi Gras invitations options available to hosts. The Decorations. Setting the tone of any party is key to its success. Check out sites like Oriental Trading Company or Amazon.com for loads of Mardi Gras Masks , Purple Gold and Green Mardi Gras Beads, and colorful Mardi Gras Tablecovers or Mardi Gras Crepe Streamers.  Use your imagination and even create colorful purple, gold and green floral displays or paper craft centerpieces.
