A while ago, I shared a fun new animated series available on Pure Flix about Christian band Anthem Lights. The short episodes are perfectly family friendly--and a must-watch for fans of the real-life band. A Show About Anthem Lights" is a 20-episode animated show featuring the characters of the band, Anthem Lights. Featuring the voices of the actual band mates, this new show is filled with tongue-in-cheek humor about the everyday life of being a Christian in a celebrity band.
The show is exactly what the title implies – an animated series depicting the Christian band, Anthem Lights, as they go about everyday activities navigating the ups and downs of life in a boy band ... all while singing about it! Watch the trailer here!
This is an episode that will bring some smiles to the whole family. Tthe boys face getting some to-do list items done and cutting some costs in running their band business--like bottled water and hair care products. While facing the reality of profits and losses--there are lots of opportunities for humor, some misunderstandings and distractions along the way. While the boys discuss cutting some expenses--band member Spencer records clips for his "reality" vlog and tries to get some vlog likes from fans.
With a 13 minute runtime, the band keeps the laughs going and shares a quick story that is sure to give fans some smiles and families a few things to talk about--like the distractions and interruptions of social media during important conversations and the fine line between reality and "vlog life".
Would I recommend A Show About Anthem Lights: Episode 12 Smash that Like Button! ? This show is a fun, family friendly comedy that is clean, cute and super short to fit a busy schedule. We found that we enjoyed watching four episodes in an evening. Four episodes filled about an hour of time and gave us plenty to talk about!
