Wordless Wednesday July Link Up: Morning at the Park

It's been too many weeks since we've posted a Wordless Wednesday photo--and many more since we hosted a Wordless Wednesday link up party!  Why?  There have been no lazy days of summer here in this little corner of the world!  With all of the usual end of the school year fuss (and a graduating senior)--along with seven dance competitions for two girls in six cities/three states, dance camp, tennis lessons, work travel and the typical daily insanity--thrown into a six week time frame--this mama is a little behind in a little bit of everything!

But--it's Wednesday and it's time to get one of our favorite post series back on track!  It's time to share our latest photos that left us speechless--and take some time to check out your latest Wordless Wednesday moments!

Tennis lessons found us at a local park this morning--and we weren't the only ones out and about at 8 a.m.!

When we found this guy--I thought he was too "perfect" to be real....I've had plastic bug freak out episodes too many times over the years....but--he was the real deal....a Central Ohio, park dwelling, living, breathing, slightly scary, stag beetle....

Later, we explored the creek and stumbled upon a family of geese....Not the greatest picture--but, the girls love watching wildlife.

Now to decide what to do with the rest of the afternoon...I'm pretty sure that the girls have something in mind...

Enjoy your Wednesday--and we'll see you next week!

  3. Wonderful photos, even if it is a yucky beetle.

  4. That bug really does look plastic - I would have been freaked out either way...more so knowing it's actually real! Creepy scary! :)

LOVE that last shot - what a perfect way to end the day! :)

  5. I'm not a big fan of bugs, even if they're plastic. That would have had me running in the opposite direction!

Thanks for linking up over at Tales of a Pee Dee Mama.

  6. It's so hard when summer and real life get in the way of our blogging!
