Wordless Wednesday Link Up: What's Up?

We have had an unusually wet and cool summer this year in our little corner of the world.  We saw rain over 17 of the last 18 days--and we didn't even bother opening the pool this year as most days have been too cloudy and cool to use it!  Thought I would take a look at some of the exciting....okay...not so exciting...happenings in our world from the last few weeks as this week's Wordless Wednesday link up!

Mister Maxi has been down and out....

He picked up an infection after a 3 day boarding adventure in late May--and he just can't seem to kick it!  We are on our second round of antibiotics/cortisone treatment cycle and are not seeing a lot of improvement yet.  I know that I'm ready for him to feel better--and I'm sure he's ready as well!

Amazon brought Elsa a few new boxes...

....and she decided that this one was a perfect fit.

Fluffy D' Tail and Lea have bonded....

Lea has been pretty lonely since Frito T. Cat passed away last year.  Frito was her daily snuggle buddy.  Fluffy D has been an unwilling housecat with all of the rain--so they have become a little closer over the past several weeks.

Irish Dance has ruled our "free time"...

We have had several dance competitions, camps, classes, and dance related travel adventures this summer.  Luckily dance has kept the girls busy and active during the many days of blah weather!

On a more exciting note--the middle one finally qualified for the Oireachtas in Irish Dance last weekend.  This is a regional competition that will take place in the fall. She will compete against other dancers from our region for the opportunity to compete in the U.S. Irish Dance Nationals--with the ultimate goal being a qualification to compete in the World Championships.

That's our summer so far....

What's happening in your corner of the world?

    1. They love dancing! I'm hoping to have video of them dancing at the Dublin (Ohio) Irish Festival later this summer. They will both be in a dance together in spite of the fact that they are at different levels--so we are looking forward to that! :)
